Logline
A man wakes up in a bar, not remembering who he is and how he got there. His only company is an enigmatic bartender and no way out.
In January of 2014, 'Last Promise' was filmed in San Diego with Tonya Lehman as Director. Editing was completed in Late April. Below is the Vimeo link:

Synopsis
A man wakes up in a deserted bar. He can't remember who he is or how he got there. The only other occupant is the bartender who offers him a drink. The man requests water since he promised his wife that he would give up drinking. This starts a conversation between the bartender and the man on the illness of his wife: the anger, the sadness, promises made and not kept and finally the acceptance of her illness and eventual death. During the conversation with the Bartender,the man's eyes are drawn to a pair of doors that are locked. He also begins to remember parts of his life, until he realizes that he has died, which he accepts without fear. He asks the bartender if he will ever see his wife again. Pointing to the doors, which are now open, the man sees his wife waiting there for him. He thanks the bartender and asks him his name. The bartender replies Pete, which is no surprise to the man. Taking his wife's hand, she leads him up the stairs as the door closes.
